For Professionals and Trainees

Continuing Education

BASE is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. BASE maintains responsibility for its programs and their content. We deliver cutting edge skills and experts who are passionate about their areas of specialty. We host programs at BASE, sponsor programs in the community, and are developing home-based educational options.

"A great CE presentation with ideas I could put into practice the next week!"

-Dr. Heather Dyer

CBT Case Consultation

One of the greatest challenges of private practice is that you do not always have a trusted resource for consultation. BASE provides a free, confidential atmosphere in which you can consult with clinicians within BASE and the broader community. Bring your lunch and your case concerns.

Book Club

You likely have a collection of must-have books as well as a stack of books you have not had the chance to read yet. Book club creates an opportunity for BASE providers and clinicians in the community to process books (both clinical and popular) that may be applicable to our work and the understanding of mental health.

Business of Private Practice

One key factor to success as a therapist is the one thing that most graduate programs do not teach- effectively running a business! Dr. Daley had experience in health care management prior to opening BASE, while Dr. Umbach grew up in a family business. They both took a deep dive into business management in mental health care when they developed their business plan for BASE. These consultation sessions allow for mental health clinicians to share ideas, experiences, and resources in a collaborative environment.

BASEline E-Newsletter

BASE has a lot to share! Stay informed with all of our offerings through subscription to our newsletter. We will not spam you, and we aim to make our newsletter to be rich in information. BASE is built on a foundation that information is key to excellence in mental health. BASE clinicians are avidly engaged with their areas of specialty, and share new ideas through our newsletter.
