DESCRIPTION
This workshop will discuss the differentiations of menopause stages (Haver 2024; Mosconi 2024) followed by criteria for diagnosis (Haver 2024; Mosconi 2024; Neal-Perry 2024) and the various symptoms and experiences of women in these stages (Haver 2024; Santoro 2016). Discussion will include the neglect of menopause in women’s healthcare (Haver 2024), the pros and cons of menopause hormone treatment (Haver 2024; Mosconi 2024; Baik, Baye & McDonald (2024) and how menopause can affect mental health (Haver 2024; Moscon 2024).
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Based on the content of this workshop, you will be able to:
Describe the difference between pre-menopause, menopause and post-menopause.
Articulate what is happening to a women’s body during the menopause stages and
how it can affect mental health.
Describe menopause symptoms and the various experiences in menopausal stages
Explain what Menopause Hormone Replacement is and how to pursue a
knowledgeable practitioner
Name lifestyle behaviors that positively contribute to menopause health.
Increased confidence when clients discuss their menopausal symptoms and
experiences.
AUDIENCE
This workshop in an introduction and applicable for licensed psychologist and other mental health clinicians who treat clients navigating perimenopause or postmenopause.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations will be accepted and payments refunded in full up to two (2) weeks prior to any training event. Following two weeks prior to the event, a credit for future trainings matching the amount already paid for that event’s registration will be given to registrants who cancel their registration, for whatever reason, up to two (2) days prior to the event date. This credit can only be applied to one future training, regardless of its cost. If the cost of the future training is less than the amount paid, the difference will be lost. If the cost of the future training is greater than the credit, then the balance will become due at registration time. If a registrant cancels or no-shows within two days of the event date, a refund will not be given.
